Fidelity Investments In Canada Expands HNW Offering

Fidelity Investments Canada has expanded its offering for high net worth clients with new asset allocation pools under its private investment program. The new pools, Fidelity Asset Allocation Private Pool and Fidelity Asset Allocation Currency Neutral Private Pool, are diversified portfolios aiming to achieve high returns. They will have a neutral mix of 50 per cent equity and 50 per cent fixed income, with tactical bands extending from 20 to 70 per cent for both asset classes and from zero to 40 per cent for money market securities. These pools will be managed by Geoff Stein, portfolio manager and asset allocation specialist for Fidelity. The move comes at a time when high net worth investors continue to be a significant growth area. Fidelity Investments Canada forecasts that HNW individuals' share of the wealth in Canada will increase to 79 per cent of C$3.4 trillion by the year 2018 . Fidelity Investments Canada manages a total of C$64 billion in mutual fund and institutional assets.
